PostgreSQL: restore a custom database dump

pg_restore -d database file

This command is used to restore a special format used by the database backups of PostgreSQL. The file info of this kind of files is

PostgreSQL custom database dump – v1.12-0

-d dbname, –dbname=dbname
Connect to database dbname and restore directly into the database
